Alcotec Rum Turbo yeast from the British manufacturer Hambleton Bard Ltd is used to prepare mash for rum - this yeast perfectly ferments wort based on cane molasses. The composition includes the enzyme glucoamylase, it breaks down the dextrins contained in molasses into fermentable sugars. The more fermentable sugars in the mash, the higher its output strength.
The 73 g package is designed to ferment 25 liters of mash in 7 days. The alcohol content in the finished mash can reach 15%.
Ingredients: dry yeast, vitamins, nutrients, trace elements, glucoamylase.
Instructions for using alcoholic yeast Alcotec Rum Turbo
Pour 21 liters of water at a temperature of 35 °C into the fermentation container. Add 4.5 kg of sugar and 2 kg of molasses to the water, mix thoroughly.
Bring the wort volume to 25 liters by adding water to the container.
Cool the wort to 25 °C, pour the contents of the yeast packet into the container and stir. Maintain fermentation temperature in the range of 22-28 °C.
Attention: during fermentation it is not recommended to use a water seal and tightly close the fermentation container with a lid - fermentation proceeds very intensively, with abundant foam.
