One of the most popular bitters, spicy, sharp, pungent – the drink for real men, hunters. A sip of such tincture invigorates, gives strength, warms and improves mood.
Hunter’s tea recipe:
First, the concentrate is made, and only then the final drink. A big advantage of this technology is that you can adjust the intensity of taste and aroma yourself by adding the concentrate to the main drink and tasting it a little bit.
Hunter’s Concentrate:
- 200 ml (7 fl.oz) of 70% (140-proof) alcohol, vodka or Neutral Grain Spirit
- This kit
Put all ingredients from the kit into a jar and fill with alcohol and infuse for 2 weeks in a dark place, filter through a cotton or other filter, after the infusion is ready for blending.
Ingredients (for the final drink):
- 40 ml (1,4 fl.oz) of Hunter’s concentrate
- 10 ml (0,3 fl.oz) of Port wine
- 0.3 teaspoon of sugar
- 270 ml (9 fl.oz) of 40% (80-proof) alcohol, vodka or Neutral Grain Spirit
Combine liquids, add sugar, mix well and taste. If the infusion is not saturated enough, add more concentrate. On the contrary, would you like to make it less intense? Add the rest of the ingredients. After blending, let drink rest for at least two weeks, so that its taste is rounded. After ripening you may want to filter it again.
That’s it, the Hunter’s Tea Liqueur is ready!
