Château Oat is made from dehusked oats. This type of malt has very low diastatic activity and moderate extract. CHATEAU OUT MALT adds a "silkiness" to the beer. An excellent choice for richer, more aromatic dark beers with persistent head. It is used to enhance the bouquet of beer, giving it a fresh cookie taste, unique texture and creamy taste.
Usage: Dark beers, porters, stouts, strong English ales, winter beers.
