Characteristic
Belgian caramel malt. High germination temperature, flavor development up to 220°C, intense aroma.
Properties
Château Cara Blond® gives the beer a mild caramel flavor and a golden color. A distinctive feature of caramel malts is the presence of glassy grains in them - a source of obligatory non-fermentable components, thanks to which real caramel malt enhances the velvety of beer and increases the stability of its foam.
Application
Light lagers and ales, low alcohol and non-alcoholic beer, white (wheat) beer. Up to 30% mixture.
