Alcotec Turbo Klar is a fast and strong two-component professional brightener. Ideal for clarification of musts and white wines.

Winemakers use Alcotec Turbo Klar to clarify the mash. Effectively precipitates yeast cells, while eliminating the unpleasant smell of yeast, the wort is significantly clarified, the finished drinking distillate will be of much higher quality.

Clarification time is about 24 hours. The volume of the package is designed for 25 liters.

Alcotec Turbo Klar contains silicon sol, chitosan.

 

Application

 

Sediments the yeast cell, eliminates any unpleasant odor, brightens to transparency. This tool works on the principle of bentonite, but has a much better effect.

 

If you do not need such a large volume, but want to save money, you can divide these components into bottles and use several times, drawing up the right amount with a medical syringe.

 

To obtain a better drink, it is necessary to purify not only the finished distillate, but also the wort before distillation. The fact is that the mash contains particles of “dead” yeast and other dense suspensions, the purification of which significantly improves the quality of the final product. Indeed, when heated, this yeast sediment forms a compound with an unpleasant odor, which can also spoil the taste of the product. These yeast fermentation products are very small, and it will not be possible to get rid of them using ordinary straining.

 

Therefore, clarification of raw materials significantly improves the quality of the drink. And so, let's start in order. Before clarification, the fermented wort must be carefully drained from the yeast residue into a sterile container. And to make the process of degassing, that is, to remove carbon dioxide from the raw materials. Degassing minimizes the formation of foam when the mash is heated. You can remove carbon dioxide from the starter with thorough mixing for 2-8 hours.

 

After degassing, pour the contents of package A into the wash, mix thoroughly and leave to settle for 2 hours. Package "A" contains silicic acid sol, it is responsible for clarification of the wort, that is, it removes the remains of yeast fermentation and impurities that make the mash cloudy, thereby improving the quality of the future drink.

 

After a 2-hour interval, add the contents of bag "B", which contains chitosan. This is an active substance that precipitates all small fermentation products to the bottom. Reacting with yeast residues, chitosan binds it into colloidal compounds, which gradually fall to the bottom. Stir the mash gently, being careful not to touch the sediment. Leave to settle for 24-48 hours until completely clarified.

 

It is most optimal if the container is settled in a cool place. After the settling period, it is necessary to drain the liquid from the sediment. Now your wort is ready for further distillation and will give an excellent result.
