The drain valve “Disc valve” is optionally installed on any cheese factory equipped with drainage of grain and whey. The advantage of a milk valve over a ball valve in a cheese factory is that the butterfly valve has a flow hole equal to the size of the whey drain hole.
The milk tap for the cheese factory is made of food grade non-magnetic stainless steel 304.
An obvious advantage of the whey drain valve is the ability to quickly install and dismantle using clamp connections.
